First Stop Help Center Receives Community Foundation Award

The First Stop Help Center was one of 24 local non-profits to receive a grant from the Lander Community Foundation through their Open Grant Program. $25,150 in total was awarded to 24 Nonprofit Organizations, each grant was up to $1500.

The Lander Community Foundation is thrilled to support all 24 organizations who applied with awards totaling $25,150. This is over $5,000 more than last year’s grant award amount and significantly more than the first $4,500 awarded 8 years ago. “We are proud to have been able to offer increasingly more money every year since 2012,” explained Foundation Board chair Liz Lightner. “Over the life of the program we have been able to issue 118 grants totaling $110,440,” says Liz.

The First Stop Help Center is extremely grateful to the Lander Community Foundation for supporting our work, and for supporting so many vital local community organizations.
